Supporting our littlest neighbors: diaper drive and baby shower for community families

The Oneida County Health Department is excited to host a Diaper Drive in support of our upcoming Community Baby Shower and Family Day for local families in need.

Now through July 18, we are collecting new diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, and new infant clothing.

These essential items will be distributed to expecting and new parents during our Community Baby Shower and Family Day event on July 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hodag Dome, 863 Hodag Dome Drive in Rhinelander.

This drive is a simple way for our community to come together and support families during one of the most exciting — and challenging — times in life. Every pack of diapers or onesie donated makes a big difference!

Donation drop-off locations include:

• Oneida County Health Department.

• Trig’s.

• Culver’s.

• Nicolet National Bank.

• Peoples State Bank in Rhinelander and Minocqua.

• Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (8 a.m. to noon).

Monetary donations are also welcome and will go toward purchasing baby supplies for families.

The Community Baby Shower and Family Day is a free celebration open to all families, especially those who are expecting or have recently welcomed a baby. In addition to receiving essential supplies, attendees can connect with local resources, enjoy free kids activities, and enter a drawing for a prize.
