Gov. Tony Evers and Department of Children and Families Secretary Jeff Pertl visited The Morgue Coffee Company in Rhinelander Thursday morning, Jan. 23, 2025, for a community roundtable discussion on the challenges facing local families. The visit was part of a three-city tour in support of Evers’ annual State of the State Address which he delivered Wednesday evening. During the speech, Evers pronounced 2025 the Year of the Kid and detailed his plans to improve the lives of Wisconsin children as well as reduce costs for working families.
