By River News Staff
A small car was damaged Thursday when it was struck by a train in Rhinelander.
No injuries were reported.
According to Rhinelander Fire Chief Brian Tonnancour, firefighters responded to a report of a train vs. vehicle accident on Phillip Street early Thursday afternoon.
“It appears that as a train was moving through the intersection of W. Phillip it struck the rear end of a small car,” the chief advised. “There were no injuries reported, and the only damage was to the rear of the car.”
