Pamela Lynne Gilbert

Pamela Lynne Gilbert, age 80, of Rhinelander, died on Feb. 23, 2025, at the Rennes Health and Rehab. She was born on Sept. 28, 1944, in Janesville, the daughter of John and Avis (Lynn) Stephens.

Pamela was born in Janesville and moved to the Rhinelander area as a child where she attended schools graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1963. She had been employed at A & P Food Store and then Hardware Hank, in the same building, for many years. Pamela was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and loved to sing in the church choir. She also was a part of the Nicolet Choraliers for many years. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Chuck) Devereaux, her son Christopher (Tori) Brown, her six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her sisters Julie (Dale) Bronson and Jonna Stephens Jewell, her brother Thomas (Lori) Stephens, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Gilbert, her parents, and her sister Patricia Stefonik.
