Boys’ hockey: Tomahawk 9, Rhinelander 0

The Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team’s season came to an end Thursday night with a 9-0 loss to Tomahawk in the opening round of the WIAA Division 2 tournament. 

The Hatchets scored three times in the first period, five more in the second and tacked on a file goal in the third. Shots were 70-5 in favor of the Hatchets. Asher Rivord made 61 saves in defeat for the Hodags. 

Rhinelander ends the season with a record of 3-22-0.
