Eagles regular season finale canceled

Friday’s scheduled regular season finale for the Northland Pines girls’ hockey co-op and the Badger (Baraboo co-op) Lightning was canceled due to inclement weather. 

The Eagles’ co-op, which includes five skaters from Rhinelander, finished the regular season 4-19-0 and will open the WIAA playoffs Thursday against the Wisconsin Valley Union co-op in Stevens Point.

Soccer referee course to be held in Hodag Dome March 9

The Hodag Soccer Club, in partnership with the Wisconsin Soccer Referee Development Program, will be holding a referee course from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 9, in the Hodag Dome. 

The course is open to those age 13 and up at the time of registration. Online classes must be completed prior to the field day.
