Judson University Choir to perform at Lake Tomahawk Bible Church

Lake Tomahawk Bible Church has announced a special concert by the Judson University Choir will take place on Sunday, March 9, at 6 p.m.

According to a press release from the church, this is the choir’s second appearance, and the church is thrilled to welcome them back.

The Judson University Choir, directed by Dr. Warren Anderson, is renowned for their energetic performances that invite audience participation. Their repertoire includes traditional hymns as well as contemporary praise and worship music, accompanied by a full band. The choir, comprised of 50 talented singers, has a long and fruitful history of ministry, both nationally and internationally.

The concert will take place at Lake Tomahawk Bible Church, located at 6706 State Highway 47 in Lake Tomahawk. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be collected during the event to support the choir’s ministry.

Dr. Warren Anderson, a 1986 graduate of Judson University, has been directing the choir since 2012. Under his leadership, the choir has become a worship-leading ensemble, offering concerts that feature narrative arcs, opportunities for congregational participation, and diverse instrumental accompaniment. The choir’s performances have been enriched by collaborations with renowned contemporary Christian musicians and bands, the release states.

The Judson University Choir has enjoyed nearly 60 years of ministry since its founding by Dr. Edward Thompson during Judson’s first year, 1963-1964. The choir has played a crucial role in attracting new students to Judson University and has toured extensively, both nationally and internationally. The church invites everyone to attend this evening of inspiring music and worship.
