Nominations open for 2025 Golden Apple Awards

Rhinelander Partners in Education (PIE) has announced that nominations are now open for the 2025 Golden Apple Awards. This annual awards program recognizes outstanding educators who demonstrate a high standard of expertise, innovation, and professionalism, according to a PIE press release.

“Educators play a vital role in shaping the future of our community,” shared Amy Vanney, Rhinelander PIE board president. “The Golden Apple Awards are an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the incredible efforts of those who make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.”

Community members, parents, students, and colleagues are encouraged to submit nominations for educators who exemplify exceptional commitment and innovation in the classroom.

Nominations may be found on the Rhinelander Partners in Education website at www.rhinelanderpie.com. The submission deadline is March 5.

 Nominations should be for educators in the Rhinelander area including, but not limited to the School District of Rhinelander, Nativity, Zion, Armis Dei, early childhood centers, etc. A committee of community leaders and retired educators will review all nominations and final selections for the Golden Apple will be recognized in May. Rhinelander PIE is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization comprised of area business, education and community leaders that strives to connect the community, businesses and students together in a collaborative approach.
