RHS Sports recap: Thursday, Feb. 6

Boys’ hockey: Kingsford, Mich. 4, Rhinelander 0

The Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team was shutout for a fourth straight game Thursday night, falling at home to Kingsford 3-0 in non-conference play. 

The Flivvers scored once in the first period and three times in the second period as they outshot the Hodags 50-19 in the contest. Asher Rivord made 46 saves in defeat for the Hodags.

Rhinelander (2-18-0, 0-8-0-0 Great Northern) travels to Ashland on Friday.
