Fire destroys Pine Lake building

Volunteer firefighters from the Town of Pine Lake and several other local departments responded to a structure fire on Hildy Lane, off of W. View Road, on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 5, 2025. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze but the owner advised the River News the residence is a total loss. No one was injured as the owner was at work when the fire broke out. We expect to report more information on the fire in a future edition of the River News.
