Dallas Kelley

Dallas Kelley, age 91, of Rhinelander, died on February 2, 2025 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. He was born on December 7, 1933, in Rhinelander, the son of Clarence and Myrtle (Alexander) Kelley. He attended schools in Rhinelander and then enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952. He attained the rank of S/Sgt and served as a radio operator in security services. Upon his honorable discharge in 1956, he returned to Rhinelander and went to work for the Cleary's Dairy. In 1966 he went to work for the Rhinelander Paper Company and retired in 1996.

In 1969 he married the former Barbara Sutton and she preceded Dallas in death on January 19, 2023. They were blessed with nearly 55 years together.

Dallas is survived by his daughters Lauren Kraus and Terri Janes, his stepson Matt Gilman, his brother Pat Kelley, his six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, his stepdaughter Carla Toney, his stepson Michael Gilman and his brother Bruce Kelley.
