Rhinelander library to host author event April 8
The Rhinelander District Library is partnering with Nicolet College and the Friends of the Library to present an author event with Jennifer Chiaverini on Tuesday, April 8, at 6 p.m. in the Nicolet College Theater.
Chiaverini, a New York Times bestselling author of more than 30 novels, including critically acclaimed historical fiction and the beloved Elm Creek Quilts series, will discuss her new novel, “The World’s Fair Quilt.”
Chiaverini was awarded an outstanding achievement award from the Wisconsin Library Association for her novel “Resistance Women,” as well as her honor of Notable Wisconins Author for her significant contributions to Wisconsin’s literary heritage, according to a Rhinelander District Library press release.
Chiaverini will be available to answer questions and sign books after the program. Books will also be available for purchase at the event from Briar House, a local Rhinelander business.
Thanks to the generous partnership of the Friends of the Rhinelander District Library and Nicolet College, this event. is free and open to the public.
The event will take place at the Nicolet College Theater as part of the Nicolet Live! series. The theater is located in the Lakeside Center at 5364 College Drive in Rhinelander.
No tickets are required and general admission seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
