Sandra K. Miller

Beloved mother and grandmother Sandra K. Miller, 79, of Rhinelander, died on December 14, 2025, in Wausau. Born on May 15, 1946 in Madison, Sandra is the daughter of Palmer and Ruth (Carmichael) Lee. She attended and graduated school in Madison and worked as a telephone operator. She married and later divorced.

She moved to the Rhinelander/Sugar Camp area with her then husband, LeRoy, in the early 1970s and has lived there since. She held several jobs in the area including a sales clerk for Jim’s Jewelry store, town treasurer of Sugar Camp, Allen Bradley, in-home daycare, Scott’s custom cabinets, secretary for Brumar cabinetry, and Family and Child Learning centers, where she later retired.

When she was growing up, she loved dancing, which carried into her adult life. She liked to draw and play the harmonica. She enjoyed the peaceful quiet of nature, especially fishing. But most of all, she loved being with her family.

Sandra is survived by her beloved children Lacey Moreno, Laina Miller, Leann Miller and Lucas (Laura) Miller, her 10 grandchildren, her brother Terry (Gerri) Lee, sister Nancy Hunter and nieces/nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Trent.
