Robert “Bobby” F. Nelson

Robert “Bobby” Nelson, 71 from Tomahawk. Passed away peacefully on Dec. 1,2025 surrounded by his family.

Robert was born on May 8, 1954 to Robert and Gloria “Jean” Nelson.

Bobby grew up and attended school in Tomahawk. He was an enthusiastic sportsman. He loved fishing, hunting, camping or just being in nature. He loved everything “outdoors.” Bobby loved all kinds of music and movies. He was also a very gifted artist. One of his proudest accomplishments was when he was in “The Giant Spider Invasion” as a stunt man and even drove the huge spider. He was able to work with and meet Alan Jr. & Barbara Hale during the filming.

Bob was always the warmhearted one. From his early years into adulthood he was a prankster, quick witted, fast with the one liner jokes and always smiling. You had to get up pretty early if you thought you could put one over on him. This was part of his lifelong charm.

Bob was in the National Guard for many years. Worked in construction, Painting and manufacturing. Until he was no longer able due to his health.

Bobby was a dedicated and devoted son, brother, husband, father and Grandfather. He was loved deeply by his family and will be greatly missed.

Bobby was proceeded in death by his father Robert K Nelson and his Mother Gloria J Nelson.

His Sister Terri Nelson, Brothers Mark Nelson and Russell Nelson.

Bobby is survived by his wife Christine (Wakely) Nelson , Daughters: Karen Antill, Kayla (George) Algire, Kelly (Jorden) Nickolai, Nicole Nelson and Brother Richard (Valorie) Nelson.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Bobby requested no formal service.
