Trees for Tomorrow announces new $200K goal after TFT4All breaks record
Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) is proud to announce that its annual TFT4All year-end fundraising campaign has surpassed its original goal, thanks to overwhelming community support and a generous $40,000 match that helped launch the campaign in October. This early match—provided by committed local supporters—sparked a wave of giving from individuals, families, small businesses, and corporate partners across the region.
“Our community showed extraordinary generosity,” said Cheryl Todea, TFT executive director. “The $40K match set the tone for the entire campaign, and donors stepped up even as many faced challenges of their own this year. Their commitment to getting kids outdoors is truly inspiring.”
With the original goal exceeded, TFT has now established a new stretch goal of $200,000 to meet rising demand for SOLE (School Outdoor Learning Experiences) and ensure more area schools can participate in hands-on environmental education in 2026.
Supporting local students through outdoor learning
TFT4All directly supports schools — particularly those in rural or financially constrained districts — that need assistance to participate in SOLE. Funds from the campaign provide:
• Scholarships for local schools to reduce program fees.
• Transportation support that allows TFT Educators to bring students safely to field sites.
• Outdoor classroom supplies, field equipment, and learning materials.
• Curriculum development and educator support.
• Programming that builds leadership, environmental awareness, and confidence.
Every year, all schools served by TFT rely on some financial support to make SOLE programming possible. Donor generosity ensures every student can learn, explore, and grow outdoors — regardless of their financial circumstances.
Not too late to make a 2025 tax-deductible gift
The TFT4All campaign runs through Dec. 31, and supporters still have time to make a meaningful impact. All contributions made before midnight on December 31 are tax-deductible for the 2025 tax year.
Help TFT reach the $200,000 stretch goal
TFT invites community members, alumni families, outdoor enthusiasts, and corporate partners to help meet the new goal. Every gift — large or small — supports transformative learning opportunities for local youth.
