William Bryant Lynn Weatherley

William Bryant Lynn Weatherley, 46, of Rhinelander, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. William used up the rest of his nine lives and the extra lives his father-in-law, Larry, had given him.

William was born in Searcy, Arkansas on December 18, 1978, to William B. and Betty F. (Neeley) Weatherley. He was raised in Des Arc, Arkansas and was a 1997 graduate of Arkansas Christian Academy in Bryant, Arkansas. Upon graduating from high school William was a firefighter for the Sardis Fire Department in Sardis, Arkansas. William then began his career as an over-the-road truck driver living in the Green Bay area. He moved to Rhinelander in 2006, and married the love of his life, Tracey Ligman, at the Oneida County Courthouse on June 12, 2008. William eventually had to stop truck driving due to health issues.

He was a lifetime member of the Hodag Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, his guns, and watching and playing video games with Grey.

Surviving is his loving wife, Tracey, daughter, Grey, his mother, Betty Kitchens of Rhinelander (Roy Lane), sister-in-law, Tammy Landis of Rhinelander, special friends, Thomas Barnett of Rhinelander, LeRoy Schmieder, and Anthony Alsteen and the Alsteen family, special cousins, Toni and Tammy, and his four legged companions, “Piggy” the cat, “Molly and Dottie” chihuahua’s and “Mousie” Grey’s sometimes friendly cat.

William is preceded in death by his father, William Weatherley, maternal grandparents, Oscar and Loreen Neeley, paternal grandparents, William and Joanne Weatherley, sister, Cathy Weatherley, stepfather, Johnny Kitchens, special aunt, Joanne Inman, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Audrey Ligman.

The visitation for William will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home, located at 24 E. Davenport Street, from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. Candlelight Service.

The Weatherley family requests that everyone dress in casual clothing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of William may be given to the family.
