RASF, Nicolet Bank team up for Half Court Shot

A tradition at Rhinelander High School boys’ basketball games, the Rhinelander Area Scholarship Foundation (RASF)’s half court shot contest returns for the 2025-26 season.

This year, the RASF is partnering with Nicolet National Bank as the new sponsor of the half court shot competition. The yearly sponsorship starts the funding for the half-court shot. Nicolet National Bank has also supplied the basketballs used for the shot. If the shooter makes the half-court shot, they win the jackpot, and get to keep the winning ball. 

Tickets will be sold at all home boys basketball games in the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Two tickets are drawn at each game. If a participant makes the free throw shot they win $5, if they make the 3-point shot they win $10 and if they sink the half court shot they win the jackpot.
