Fiber artist Gale Willcox to showcase work at the YMCA

Local fiber artist Gale Willcox is presenting an exhibition of her artwork at the Beck Family YMCA in Rhinelander, on display through Oct. 1. Willcox creates distinctive and imaginative pieces using fabrics, lace, beads, embellishments, and locally sourced materials, resulting in one-of-a-kind works of art.

The exhibit is featured in the Dale and Gale Willcox Gathering Room and is open to the public during YMCA operating hours.

Community members are warmly invited to an open house on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from noon to 2 p.m. Guests will have the chance to meet Gale, learn about her creative process, and explore her art in person. Many of the works will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign.
