Exhibition details
• “Arthropods’ Night Out” by Jim Good.
Printmaking is a meticulous and deliberate process, requiring careful engineering and planning. In “Arthropods’ Night Out,” artist Jim Good presents the complete series of original prints created for the book “A Little Party.” Each print contains embedded text that allows viewers to follow the narrative from piece to piece. This structured and contemplative body of work offers a unique intersection of storytelling and fine art printmaking.
• “Realism in Rhinelander” by Kyle Surges.
Identifying as a pop realist, Kyle Surges focuses on manufactured objects — often vintage items with a touch of humor or cultural significance. In Realism in Rhinelander, Surges elevates ordinary objects into icons, exploring their transformation from everyday tools to collectible artifacts. Meticulous detail and sharp observation bring each subject to life, encouraging viewers to reflect on the evolving role of Americana in contemporary culture.
Galleries are open free to the public Thursday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
