Girls’ swimming: Rhinelander T-2nd/8, Menomonie Invite

The Rhinelander High School girls’ swim team won six events and finished tied for second in the Menomonie Relays Saturday in Menomonie.

Ella Heck, Rylee Mickevicius, and Millie Gruett all swam on four winning relays Saturday while Emma Houg, Vivian Lamers, June Chiamulera and Kiley Pooch were a part of three wins each. Freshmen Aubree Edwardson and Lola Beach also found the winner’s circle as the Hodags claimed the 200 medley, 400 individual medley, 200 butterfly, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke and 400 (8x50) freestyle relays.

Rhinelander hosts the Hodag Relays Wednesday at the Heck Family Community Pool.
