Youth equipment swap at Hodag Dome Aug. 22

A youth sports equipment swap is scheduled for Aug. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Hodag Dome in Rhinelander. 

If you have extra youth sports equipment taking up space, consider helping out. Help each other gear up, look for something you might need and keep it out of the landfill.

Spread the word, the more the better!

Accepting gently used and clean youth sports gear. The event is free to everyone and no donation is necessary. This is strictly donation only. No sales. Examples of gear include cleats, bats, helmets, balls, gloves, shinguards, rackets. 

No jerseys, socks, sneakers or other clothing items. No bicycles, scooters, snowboard or ski equipment. Additionally, no weapons, archery or hunting equipment. 

Check Facebook or the Hodag Dome website for most up-to-date information before bringing donations.

Any gear leftover can be picked up Saturday by noon, the rest will be donated to local groups. Look for a Facebook post regarding leftover equipment once the event is over.
