Rhinelander swimmers make a splash at Central Zones

Two Rhinelander Swim Club athletes, Stella Beach and Charlotte LeClair, made waves at the Central Zone 14 & Under Championships in Holland, Mich., Aug. 7-10. The two competed for Team Wisconsin against some of the fastest young swimmers in the Midwest.

LeClair brought home a 10th place finish in the 50-meter breaststroke, an outstanding result in a tough field. Stella also put in strong swims, proudly representing both Rhinelander and Wisconsin.

Rhinelander Swim Club Head Coach Megan Cihla served as a Team Wisconsin coach at the meet, bringing her leadership and expertise to the state’s top athletes.

“The Rhinelander Swim Club congratulates Stella, Charlotte, and Coach Cihla for their hard work, dedication, and impressive performances,” the club stated in a press release.
