Outboard enthusiasts set sail for Tomahawk meet Aug. 5-8

The Northwoods Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club will host a four-day outboard motor sale, swap and display meet at Sara Park in Tomahawk Aug. 5-8.

There will be old outboards and boats on display in the arena and the vendors on the grounds will sell hundreds of antique and classic outboard motors and parts. 

We also have six on-water events on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus many participants enjoy going out on the water testing their motors or just taking a nice leisure ride. 

The meet opens at 8 a.m. each morning with the National Anthem and usually ends around 8 p.m. each day except Friday when we conclude with the banquet.

Admission is free to the public and the best times are Wednesday and Thursday. We encourage people to come and enjoy looking at all the antiques and classics and maybe bring back memories from their past.
