Marjorie Anna Scott, 79 of Ladysmith, died Saturday, June 26, 2025 in Marshfield, of cancer. She was born on March 10, 1946 to Carl and Phyllis Wiedeman in Leesburg, Fla. She lived in Rhinelander, until she married.
Marjorie and Randall Scott were married on June 13, 1964 in Rhinelander. They lived there as a couple for a year and a half, then moved to Sparta for a year before moving to Ladysmith in late 1966. Marjorie was a secretary for the Ladysmith School System, involved in the Ladysmith Jaycettes and Exhausted Roosters and was active at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ladysmith. She enjoyed golf, gardening, some casino hopping, lots of traveling, snowmobiling, snowmobile racing and spending time with family and her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Randy, son David and Dawn (Grigar) Scott of Ladysmith, daughter Annette Scott-Chadwell of Rhinelander, grandchildren: Kenzie and Luke Allison and Cassidy Scott, brother Harold Wiedeman of Rhinelander and sister Beverly (Wiedeman) Slack of Green Bay.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Phyllis (Ackerman) Wiedeman.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig Zandi officiating. A memorial visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will be in Northland Memorial Park Cemetery in Rhinelander on Saturday, Aug 9, at 11 a.m.
