Gov. Tony Evers made a sweet stop at Briq’s Soft Serve inside Jet’s Dairy Bar, meeting co-owners Kevin and Holly Briquelet-Miller on the third leg of his “Ice Cream Tour.” He took time to learn about their business and the community it serves.

During the nearly 45-minute visit, Evers spoke with area government officials and local entrepreneurs, listening to concerns ranging from broadband funding and the region’s aging population to housing shortages and access to affordable child care.

He also discussed provisions of the recently passed 2025-27 state budget that address those priorities, including rural broadband expansion, housing development incentives and increased support for child care.
