Mike Drivas

Mike Drivas of Rhinelander passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025. He was born on February 18, 1953 in Rhinelander to Penny and Cathy Drivas. He grew up in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School.

In 1975 Mike married Paula (Vanney) and they raised three children. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman who was a common sight on the Rainbow Flowage and backwaters of the Wisconsin River. He shared his love for the outdoors with his children who continue to pass along this legacy to their families. He was a jokester who loved to laugh and will be remembered for his sharp wit and quick smile which remained until the end.

Mike is survived by his children Jess (DJ) DeMeyer, Jason (Beth) Drivas, Josh (Janine) Drivas and 11 grandchildren Lila, Addi, Anna, Joel, Brooklyn, Steele, Maddie, Perla, Milo, Juniper, and Dimitri. Two sisters, Sharon (Jim) Krachala, Cathy Papineau and three brothers Jim (Debbi) Drivas, Dan (Lisa) Drivas, Dave Drivas, numerous nieces and nephews and many life long friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, brother Pete (Judy) Drivas and sister Anne Drivas.

His family would like to thank Lakeshore Lake Tomahawk for the loving care they provided in his final years.
