Sandra Fransen

To my dear family and friends, I’m letting you know that on April 6, 2025, I passed from this earthly life to a new one in God’s heaven. My beautiful family was there to comfort me and ease my journey. I died peacefully knowing I was so loved.

I was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on September 17, 1948, to Anthony and Alice (Stabinsky) Heidcavage. We were of Polish heritage and our home was always filled with good friends, good food, music and most of all, love. I was blessed to be born into our family.

I leave behind my dear husband and caretaker Ron, my beautiful daughter Lisa (Jim) Ristow, my stepsons Adam (Stephanie) Hallett and Jonathon (Jamie) Hallett, my sister Doris (Dan) Shea, sister-in-laws Nancy (Johnnie) Kamm and Janet (Bill) Barlett, my brother-in-law Steven Bania, along with many awesome nieces and nephews. I was preceded in death by my parents, my infant brother Joseph, my sisters Karen McIntyre and sister Jeanne Bania and brother-in-law John McIntyre.

I read a person dies twice, once when your physical body gives out and a second time when people stop telling your story. Please don’t ever stop telling my story — Sandi.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to noon with a Mass of Christian burial following at noon, all at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Father Chris Kemp will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Fransen family at www.carlsonfh.com.
