Pinewood Country Club announces league meeting dates

Meeting dates for three leagues at Pinewood Country Club in Harshaw will take place this week. Details are as follows:

Tuesday Men's League — 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 8 at Pinewood

• Please bring $60 cash for league dues

• Pick to play in the 2:30 p.m. shotgun or 5 p.m. shotgun

• Looking for more men to join this league!

Wednesday Women's League — 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 9 at Pinewood

• Please bring $100 cash for league dues

• This is a fun league. Looking for more women to join!

Wednesday Men's League — 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 9 at Pinewood

• Please bring $100 cash for league dues

• Looking for more men to join this league!

YMCA announces pickleball winners

The YMCA of the Northwoods announced last week the results of its Clash of the Paddles pickleball tournament held Saturday, March 29 at the Hodag Dome. Results were as follows

Men’s High Division: 1st, Terry Berndt and Tim Beyer. 2nd, Lee Brandenburg and John Seis. 3rd, Ryan Ross and Todd McEldowney.

Men’s Intermediate Division: 1st, Baxter Arndt and Josh Boris. 2nd, Tom Trochlil and Mike Haasl. 3rd, Dennis Zielinski and Rich Martin.

Women’s High Division: 1st, Julie Seis and Jodi Zalewski. 2nd, Sherry Denton and Stasia Seubert, 3rd, Michele Newman and Renee Wesolowski. 

Women’s Intermediate Division: 1st, Lisa Young and Carol Suriano. 2nd, Kelsey Birschbach and Sam King. 3rd, Heather Lundt and Donna Brandenburg. 

Mixed Doubles High Intermediate: 1st, Christie Kondzela and Ken Kortenhof. 2nd, Sherry Denton and John Gulan. 3rd, Renee Wesolowski and Dean Steinmetz.

Mixed Doubles Intermediate 2: 1st, Edith Huybrecht and Zach Huybrecht. 2nd, Danielle Seubert and Richard Thomas. 3rd, Lisa Young and Marty Dunham. 

Mixed Doubles Intermediate: 1st, Jenny Messin and Mike Haasl. 2, Kandei Noskowiak and Lance Noskowiak. 3rd, Lynne Trochlil and Tom Trochlil.
