According to USA Curling the Arena National Championships are regionally-based championships aimed at determining the top arena teams. An arena club is defined as a club that is a member in good standing of the USA Curling and conducts all its on-ice activities by renting ice from a facility that is not solely or predominantly used for curling. The Rhinelander Curling Club uses the Rhinelander Ice Arena for its activities.
The date and location of this year’s Arena National Championship will be announced by USA Curling at a later date.
In social media posts, the Rhinelander Curling club thanked Eau Claire Curling Club, The Wisconsin State Curling Association, Rhinelander Ice Arena and board and management. The club stated fundraising details regarding sending the teams to nationals will also be announced at a later date.
