Anderson Plaza Project

Hailey Smith and Emma Chiamulera of the City of Rhinelander public works department were hard at work Tuesday morning, Sept. 17, 2024 beginning the process of transforming the dead end at the end of Anderson Street into a usable sitting area. According to street department foreman Justin Ernst, the city is planning to plant some shade trees and install two benches. Large boulders will serve as a natural looking border.
