JV football

The RHS JV football team defeated Lakeland 34-26 Monday, Sept. 9 at Mike Webster Stadium. Down 18-6 at one point in the second quarter, the Hodags rallied to take a 20-18 lead at halftime. Abe Gretzinger gave Rhinelander the lead for good on a 7-yard touchdown run with 3:21 remaining, and the Hodag defense stopped the T-Birds inside the 10 in the final minute to preserve the victory.
