Travelers flying into and out of the Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport will notice the terminal has received a major furniture upgrade. It's been nearly 20 years since the last major furniture update in the terminal waiting area and we could not be happier with how it turned out, airport officials said in a Facebook post. “Designed to withstand the constant wear and tear that comes with traveling, our new Agati Furniture is ready to carry us into the next era. With plenty of soft seating and power outlets, we know you will love it as much as we do!” Also, beginning Sept. 9, the airport has announced that runway 9/27 will be closed for construction. All aircraft will be utilizing runway 15/33 including all commercial flights. “While there is no expected impacts to our scheduled service, noise patterns will shift during this brief 18-day window,” airport officials explained. “We thank everyone in advance for their patience as we perform necessary maintenance on the primary runway.”
