Michael G. Biddick, age 68, of the Town of Sugar Camp, died on October 20, 2024. He was born on May 22, 1956, in Beloit, the son of Jack and Leonah (Cairns) Biddick. He is survived by his sisters Carrie (Dan) Hart and Alison (Stephan) Watson, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He spent many years working in construction and home remodeling but had retired after many years as a chef from the White Stag restaurant.
Mike was living his best life in the Northwoods, something he always wanted to do from an early age. Mike loved spending time at the many family get-togethers, cookouts, and bonfires. He was well known for his baking, especially his “dream bars” and for his slow cooked ribs. Mike earned several rings for 300 games and 800 series in bowling, and he loved hunting and fishing. Mike was unmatched in spoiling the many family pets, both his and others, over the years.
Mike loved to tell stories and talk about his Sugar Camp family. We are truly grateful to the many people who made him feel like family and listened to his stories. He will be missed but as we remember him, we are certain he wouldn’t mind if we embellished his stories, a little more, in true Mike Biddick style.
