Downtown Three Lakes Inc. joins Patronicity’s LQC Challenge
Downtown Three Lakes Inc. has announced its participation in Patronicity’s Lighter, Quicker, Cheaper (LQC) Challenge, a dynamic new grant program designed to support community-driven projects that are cost-effective and rapidly deployable.
“The organization’s upcoming Summer Solstice Night Market is now competing for a Challenge Grant of up to $5,000, and the key to winning lies in an engaging crowdfunding campaign currently under way,” Downtown Three Lakes officials explained in a press release.
Scheduled for June 20, 2025, the Summer Solstice Night Market aims to bring vibrancy to Downtown Three Lakes with a night of unique vendors, captivating performances, delicious food, and a lively community atmosphere, the release states.
Patronicity is a crowdfunding platform dedicated to empowering community-driven projects by offering challenge grants and resources to help bring innovative local initiatives to life. To win the LQC Challenge Grant, the Downtown Three Lakes campaign must attract the highest number of unique patrons, the release states. The project with the most unique supporters at the end of the crowdfunding period (Dec. 7, 2024) will receive an additional $5,000.
“The LQC Challenge represents an incredible opportunity for Downtown Three Lakes,” said Gina Stehl, board member and campaign coordinator. “The extra $5,000 would make a significant difference in our efforts to revitalize our downtown and host an amazing Summer Solstice Night Market. We’re calling on our community to rally behind us and help us win this grant.”
