Vote for democracy

To the Editor:

I understand that a significant percentage of Trump voters simply will not believe my assertions under any circumstances, but I am asking individuals to consider democracy and the fate of our Republic when voting.

Many voters regret what they feel is the economic and cultural direction of our society. The proper avenue for that sentiment is the ballot box. Ironically, the person promising to change societal trends, Trump, is a threat to democracy. He has called for termination of the Constitution and attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Supporting Trump may well be voting to end voting itself.
