Beth A. Poast (Ruehle) reunited with her parents, Robert H. and Bette Ruehle, her sister Barb Zastrow, and brother Bobby Ruehle, on Oct. 7, 2024, at age 74.

Beth’s memory will be kept alive by her loving husband Gary, her children, sister, grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and her dog Paddy. She was a devoted mother to Carie (Chris) Miller and John (Kathleen) Kutner; a sister to Bonnie Murawski; sister-in-law to Liz Ruehle; and a grandmother to Mckenzie, Madelyn and Mallory Miller, Johnny, Kylie and Brianna Kutner, Brandon Phillips and Savannah Vega. Beth will also be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren Michelle (Jerry) Thomas and Angela (Joaquin) Vega; her brother-in-law Duane (Merry) Poast; and her sisters-in-law Barb (Jim) Getz and Lila Bethke. Beth will be missed by her nieces and nephews: Eric Murawski, Randy (Stephanie) Zastrow, Kristy Zastrow, Ryan (Elaine) Zastrow, Michelle (Ed) Blake, Jenni Murawski, Emily (Eli) Neeb, Tucker Hilburn, along with many great-nephews and nieces.

Beth made Rhinelander her home in 2005 and retired as a dedicated realtor at Re/Max. She also achieved significant success in sales within the steel and wire industry. Beth was a pillar of her community and a friend to all, serving as president of the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce for many years. In addition to her beloved “up north” life, she was a frequent visitor of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, which held a special place in her heart. Beth enjoyed all things food, music and wine, and would never turn down a good card game with her children and grandchildren. Beth was a wise and caring woman who loved her family above all else. She has found peace with her departed parents and siblings in Heaven and will be forever missed and remembered by those who knew and loved her on Earth.

A memorial service will be held at the Carlson Funeral Home (134 N. Stevens St., Rhinelander, WI) on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at 1 p.m.; visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A Celebration of Life will follow at CT’s Deli (17 N. Brown St, Rhinelander). Information regarding a service in Muskego, will be shared in the coming weeks on Facebook by her children Carie Miller and John Kutner.

Flowers are welcome; in lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnels to Towers and Samaritans Purse are encouraged, as well as the planting of a tree. You may leave your private condolences for the Poast family at www.carlsonfh.com.

The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is serving the family.
