Robert Allen Wilson

Robert Allen Wilson, age 78, of Rhinelander, died on November 24, 2024 surrounded by his family at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. Bob was born on August 28, 1946 in Duluth, Minnesota.

Bob graduated from Denfeld High School. He served in the Army for three years during the Vietnam War. He lived in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and then his remaining years in Rhinelander. Bob loved to hunt and fish, going for car rides looking at different lakes. He also loved spending time with his family in Rhinelander.

Bob is survived by his sisters Michele (John) Phelps of Tennessee and Terri (John) Brophy of Wisconsin, his best friend Louis Thompson, who he spent many years hunting and fishing with, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, his good friend Gary Danley of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and most recent fishing partner, friend and brother-in-law John Brophy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Betty Wilson, his son Scott Wilson, his sister Cheryl Levendowski, his brother Daniel Wilson, and his nephew Ross Phelps. 

He will be dearly missed.
