The Green Bay Packers exacted some revenge from last year’s divisional round playoff loss, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 38-10 at Lambeau Field Sunday, Nov. 24.
The Packers dominated on the ground as Josh Jacobs rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns in the contest while the defense forced three turnovers — two of which came against backup quarterback Brandon Allen, who played in the contest for the injured Brock Purdy.
The Packers moved to 8-3 in the win, keeping pace in a competitive NFC North while the defending NFC-champion 49ers fell to 5-6, drifting further from playoff contention. The Packers hosted the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night ahead of a big Thursday night matchup next week at Detroit.
