RHS Sports recap: Saturday, Nov. 2

Cross country: RHS boys 14th/16, WIAA D2 state meet

The Rhinelander High School boys’ cross country team placed 14th out of 16 teams Saturday in the WIAA Division 2 state meet in Wisconsin Rapids. 

Sophomore Avrom Barr paced the Hodags, finishing 44th as he completed the 5K course in 17 minutes, 3.4 seconds. Senior Greyson Gremban was 48th (17:08.8), followed by Brody Kowieski in 106th (18:06.4), Jackson Weinzatl was 114th (18:17.0), Michael Brunette was 138th (18:59.0), Ayden Myers finished 140th (19:06.0) and Grant Gremban was 148th (20:00.2).
