Sandra Ann Sullivan, age 83, of Rhinelander, died on October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gary, Indiana, on September 19, 1941, the daughter of Alexander and Margaret (Piatak) Biro. She attended Hancock Grade School and graduated from Plainfield Tri-County High School in 1959.
Sandra married Robert Sullivan on September 19, 1959, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They shared six children and 64 wonderful years together.
Sandra was a professional homemaker throughout her life. While many of her contributions went unnoticed by others, her husband and children appreciated a warm and loving home, great meals, wonderful baked goods, and strong emotional support. Sandra was happiest when her home was filled with family or friends celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays. She found joy in sharing her Christmas stollen and her famous nut roll with her closest friends. Upon retirement, she and Robert traveled to Ireland and throughout the United States.
Sandra is survived by her children Shawn (Debra) Sullivan, Shannon (Michael) Murray, Shane (Danica) Sullivan, Kelli (Mark Shullo) Sullivan, and Colleen Sullivan, her nine grandchildren Katherine (Aaron) Meyer, Samantha Sullivan, Karen Frisch, Kayla Kramschuster, Kimberly Kramschuster, Logan Coppenger, McKenna Coppenger, Mackenzie Immerfall, and Brian Murray, her five great-grandchildren Olivia Kolb, Mackenzie Meyer, Max Meyer, Taylan Murray, and Sullivan Bean, her siblings Ellen (Francis) Ramczyk, Linda (Douglas) Meddaugh, Andrea (Dave) Apps, and Lisa (Michael) Bauer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Scott Sullivan and her grandson Ryan Sullivan.
