Republicans have been ‘gaslighting’ Northwoods residents

To the Editor:

I have been around long enough to get tired every two and four years of Republican gaslighting Northwoods residents just to get elected.

Gaslighting about “protecting” schools — from what being fully funded as the Wisconsin Constitution calls for? “Protecting” our lakes by introducing wake boats? By “promoting” tourism by withholding $5 million in event funding. “Protecting” our groundwater  by endlessly trying to promote sulfide mining and withholding PFAS funding?

“Helping workers” by not raising the minimum wage and rolling back worker protections? “Protecting” families from daycare funding? Stop the bull pucky.

It’s time to end the gaslighting of Northwoods voters by voting for our children, our lakes and woods, our small businesses, and our workers and their families.

Vote for Democrats because Democrats vote for you.
