Food pantry celebrates successful Salad Bowl Luncheon

The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (RAFP) is thanking the Rhinelander community for the support received during the recent annual Salad Bowl Luncheon.

Over $7,500 was raised to help the food pantry with its mission of helping supply food to area families in need. 

“This would not have been possible without the generous support from Holiday Acres, RAFP Garden, Master Gardeners of the North, GFWC Rhinelander Women's Club, Shavings & Treads, Forth Floral, Hansen’s Garden Village, Cerny’s Greenhouse and Hodag Pete’s Coffee,” organizers said in a press release. “A heartfelt thank you also goes the following restaurants that supplied their signature salads or soup: Backwaters Bar & Grill, Bucketheads, Crimson Curry Cafe, CT’s Deli, Dinky Diner, The Fireside, Tilly’s, Pizza Ranch, Twin Pines and Kid’s Korner. And a special thank you to all of the local businesses and individuals who donated to the raffle and silent auction and made this the success it was. And last, but not least, to the 115 guests that supported the event by attending and enjoying all the excellent food prepared by the restaurants and deserts prepared by members of the Women’s Club. Your support by purchasing a ticket for the luncheon and participation in the many raffles made this the success it was. RAFP looks forward to welcoming everyone at the 2025 Salad Bowl Luncheon.”
