Holmboe Conifer Forest Volunteer Day May 31

The Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) invites the public to participate in Volunteer Day at the Holmboe Conifer Forest State Natural Area from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 31.

“Spring is a busy time of year, so volunteers can help steward the property in a variety of ways: hand-pulling invasive plants, installing new signage, and cleaning up the trails,” NWLT officials said in a press release. “We recommend volunteers bring work gloves, bug spray, water and food. This event will happen rain or shine, and will only be canceled due to severe weather.
