GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club accepting grant requests

The GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club has announced it is accepting grant requests from local charitable programs, non-profit organizations, and groups that work to benefit Rhinelander’s community needs.

Applications can be obtained by email from [email protected] or requested via the U.S. Postal System at GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club, P.O. Box 272, Rhinelander, WI 54501. All requests must be made using the club’s application form. 

The deadline for returning the completed application with its narrative describing a specific program, project, or event is July 1, 2024.

“Funding is competitive and will be reviewed and evaluated by the local GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club finance committee, followed by full membership approval,” club finance chairperson Cindy Goll explained in a press release.

Founded in 1898, Rhinelander Woman’s Club has supported the Rhinelander community for 126 years through its volunteer service and charitable donations. 

 “Rhinelander Woman’s Club looks forward to partner and support other groups and individuals who share our common mission to enhance the Rhinelander community and to impact the lives of its residents,” said current club president Christy Schneider. “Creative, new ideas are especially welcome!”
