Myra Lynn Bissonnette

Myra Lynn Bissonnette, age 73, of Rhinelander, died on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at her home. Myra was born on December 6, 1950 to Wilma Jones in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Myra traveled extensively as a child due to her father Joseph being a career military medic in the United States Navy. Eventually she moved to New Jersey and stayed there until she moved to the Rhinelander area in 1980. In 1993 she met Barry Bissonnette and on September 23, 1994 they were married in Rhinelander and settled in Newbold.

Myra enjoyed rummage sales and trips to the casino with Barry, but most of all loved to spend time with her family at get-togethers at the house.

Myra is survived by her husband Barry, daughter Chrissy Kovach of Woodruff, granddaughter Caitlin Alsteen, sisters Vicky Cummings, Beth (Bob) Rasmussen, Heidi (Chris) Lindner, brothers Mike (Janice) DeBay, Joe (Carol) DeBay, Warren (Kim) DeBay, Mark (Nadine) Debay, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma, stepfather Joseph DeBay, and her brother Ernie DeBay.
