Arlene A. Kurilla

Arlene A. Kurilla, age 85, of Rhinelander, died on February 29, 2024, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center. She was born on October 5, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of Julius and Olga (Rauch) Beilfuss. She moved with her family to Rhinelander in 1947 and has lived here since. She attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1957. She married Gerald Kurilla and he preceded her in death on September 9, 1978. 

Arlene worked for years as a department manager in retail clothing. First at Montgomery Wards and then for many years at Debyle’s Clothing in Rhinelander. 

Arlene is survived by her sister Violet Peters and her brother Daniel (Gudrun) Beilfuss. 

Private graveside services will be held for Arlene at the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Gerald.
