Boys’ basketball: Rice Lake 57, Rhinelander 45

The Rhinelander High School boys’ basketball team couldn’t keep up with Rice Lake in the second half Friday night, falling 57-45 to the Warriors in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal game in Rice Lake.

Down by one at the half, the Hodags never could get the lead in the second half as its offense was plagued by 21 turnovers. JT Schradle led the Warriors with 22 points while Zach Orr added 15.

Will Gretzinger had 16 for Rhinelander while Devon Feck had 13. 

Rhinelander ended its season with a 16-10 record.
