FCCLA students make their mark at regionals

Earlier this month, students in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competed in regionals at Stevens Point Area High School. These are the results:

Silver:

Reese Gehrig and Jordan Opsal in Sustainability Challenge 

Sophia Pearson in Professional Presentation

Brooklynn Zivko and Margeaux Zohimsky in Focus on Children 

Gold

Kayla Oldenhoff in Baking and Pastry 

Madison Michel in Career Investigation

Hailey Skubal and Alexis Skubal in Wild Game Fabrication 

Seven of the nine students will compete at state. The qualifiers are Sophia Pearson, Kayla Oldenhoff, Madison Michel, Brooklyn Zivko, Margeaux Zohimsky, Hailey Skubal and Alexis Skubal. The state competition will be held April 8-10 at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells.
