Clifford “Cliff” J. Zimbler

Clifford "Cliff" J. Zimbler, age 67, of Rhinelander, died on February 25, 2024, in Rhinelander. He was born on July 12, 1956, in Chicago, the son of Clifford and Theresa (Mangano) Zimbler.

Cliff grew up in Chicago and graduated from Steinmetz High School. It was there that he met and married Nancy (Voss) Zimbler. Together they were blessed with three children. They moved to the Northwoods in 1994.

In 2009, he married the former Debra Kuckkahn and they enjoyed many years on their hobby farm, Hay Z Acres, as well as traveling and being near family and friends.

Cliff was well known in the community as "Cliff the Magic Man".  He loved to entertain and perform. He did magic shows for kids, schools and crowds of all ages and sizes. Whether for a couple sharing drinks, a family birthday party, or a corporate outing, he never missed a chance to put smiles on their faces with magic. 

He also loved to ride his motorcycle, work on vintage vehicles, and he always had one or two projects in the works. 

He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by many.

Cliff is survived by his wife Debra, his daughter Denise (Randy) Smith, his sons Rob (Laura) Zimbler and Steven (Kathryn) Zimbler, his stepson Matthew (Brittany) Luce, his grandchildren Owen, Evylen and Alaina Smith, Amia, Sophia and Olivia Zimbler, Noah Zimbler, and Isaac Luce; his siblings Cathy Zimbler, Rita Zimbler, Harry Zimbler, Joe Zimbler, Lee Zimbler and Mary Palucci, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Theresa (Mangano) Zimbler, and his brother Edward Zimbler.

Visitation for Cliff will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m., with memorial services following at 11 a.m., all at the St. Mark Lutheran Church, in Rhinelander.
