Treasure Island sets sail

Young cast members perform “Treasure Island” with the Missoula Children’s Theatre Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the John and Dori Brown Performing Arts Center at Rhinelander High School. Sponsors included Oneida County 4-H (the presenting organization), UW-Extension Oneida County. Rhinelander Community Foundation, Northern Arts Council, and Culver’s of Rhinelander. Actor/director Susie Hankins played Long John Silver, the legendary pirate who takes young Jim Hawkins (played by Patrick Sparks) on the adventure of a lifetime. The remainder of the cast was made up of local youngsters who participated in a week-long summer theater program that culminated with Saturday’s performance.
